Hi everyone!
I am having some difficulty uploading the templates to my webpage to use as a homepage? Does anyone have any experience un-zipping files on their computer? I can't seem to get the whole template to load. Thanks in advance for the help!

Hey Alex, I am really struggling with this homepage. When I installed WebDrive, it said Disconnected Network Drive (W). Did you have any issues like that? I wish I could offer any help with your template issue, but I'm so lost!

ReplyDeleteTo unzip the template file left click on it and then click "Extract All". This will unzip the file and create an unzipped file that has all of your template stuff in it.
To upload the template into dream weaver, there is a tool bar on the bottom right hand side of the dreamweaver screen that has 2 tabs. The tabs are labeled files and assets. Click on files and then find the file with your web template. The template should have .html at the end (my web template was labeled index.html). Double click on the template and it should show up in your dreamweaver screen so you can start editing it.
I hope this info helps. Sorry I didn't get on here sooner to post it. I had a heck of a time figuring it out myself!
I finally figured it all out! Whew what a process! Thanks for the post helps! I was also wondering if you all knew what needed to be put under the "Technology Standards" page of the homepage? Let me know! Thanks!
